The Zephyr and Lightfour use the same coil. Steve Woods is running his Atwater Kent motors on a PVC pipe containing 4 alkaline "D" cells. That system is the most efficient ever devised. It only draws current when the motor is running (If the capacitor is good – that is not leaking or shorted.) and only draws enough to charge the capacitor. The draw back, limited RPM. . . 😉
