I made many parts this way …
To make a mold, you need basic cheap silicone.
Add drops of water based paint ( for the color) and 2 drops of water.

Mix this. This will cure in 45 minutes.
Just have to have a pattern coated with vaseline or spoon (plates liquid washer works).

Then pour whatever you want in the mold.
Metall All, resin, Bondo, epoxy from the Dollar Store …

It s been a while I didn t play with it, so can t remember the details, but always had success.
