    Interesting thread. One of these "problem" outboards came with my AlumaCraft.
    I bought the package for the vintage boat and trailer, but threw the 9.5
    in the test barrel for kicks anyway. It ran great, but the power head
    flopped around like a crappie out of water. Pretty sure it has the broken
    mounts, and will be interested in hearing of your "shop" fixes!
