Years ago I had some Devcon Rubber mix left over on on job in our Machine Shop at work, and used it. Yes, I had to cut a slightly deeper and wider grove on the lathe 1st before I applied the new Devcon to fill up the space. Machined it after back to original surface spec’s; and is still like new after 15 years. Great stuff for these small fix jobs.
