If it is running good might take a look at the coil’s from that access hole and make sure theyou are not cracked and ask when the impeller was replaced last as long as less than couple of years probably ok I would replace the recoil that is cracked and enjoy it they are great running motors have a 57 Johnson and 68 evinrude
