    Gasoline weighs about 6 lbs per US gallon so a full tank is 120 lbs. Strap the tank down and run a green wire from the tank to the negative post of the boat’s battery and you are now bonded and ready to go. As long as the tank is not in a confined space you should meet the requirements of a built-in tank. The requirements are posted online if you are interested in going this route.
