That is what I was thinking as I was melting it off of there.
Always a bright side. This is the first tilt mechanism for me
but I’m not into these the way you gents are. Forgot a photo
of the nifty after market fill plug. Probably will replace it

Kept this magneto/battery switch I found on a 1922
although I did improve its appearance some.
A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
