    The one on the right looks like a pin-and-sleeve connector. The one on the left looks different (?). In any case mine has a different setup. The harness is continuous and I think it must have plugged into a box containing a starter solenoid and some other stuff. If there was a generator did its regulator have a separate box? I’m comfortable with electrical work but have never had an outboard with wiring before. OMC definitely did not skimp on the gauge of wiring.
