Well I put it to rest today as most of you have already figured out. Sierra does send oiler wicks with their points sets now! Like Mumbles points out in another post the wicks come with a cap of grease. My supplier just let me look at a set so I didn’t have to buy them. I am glad after looking at the mess Mumbles had to put up with. I put my first Sierra points in when I was 15 yrs. old. I’m 63 now and can’t tell any difference in their quality. Their points have never aligned properly to me. It is just a quality thing to me. Now I don’t remember the coil thing being this bad. Hopefully the coils will get better! If our other supply dries up someday that may be all we are stuck with?
