That drawing is of an AJ16A, not the AJ17A in your picture. I don’t think it matters much one way or the other. The manual says the AJ16A was used on the ’46 and ’47 Scott singles, but the Tillotson ‘where-used’ catalog says those motors take AJ17A. By now I don’t remember if the one I have came off a Scott or a Firestone..
