The evaporator coil cleaner is quite easy on the hands. It will not hurt the filter either. It is made to clean very fragile aluminum coils & isn’t caustic in any way. That is why it works so well. I know when mine are clean running water thru it as the filter flow increases by 300% when it is clean. Just let it dry & use.
