    If it is 1/16 off the eccentric, it probably does not have any (enough) space on the outside. That space is what moves the water.

    Use Lubriplate 105 "Motor Assembly Grease" available from NAPA Auto Parts stores, or "Corn Head Grease" from John Deere tractor dealers.
