Your motor should be a maroon color the tank, the motor, carb cover . From the motor down to the prop it can be off-silver. Otherwise it has been molested in some ways and without YOUR pictures , just shooting in the dark. The tank pictured is NOT a 48-49 tank. Montgomery Ward and Gambles Hiawatha had identical tanks with the raised point going down the tank backside to a point in the rear middle.
