    OK! That search turned up plenty of good info. I think I know how to proceed.

    If 6 11/16 is the right size, as stated a couple of places, then mine is about 0.13 too long. Ill see if I can compress it down a bit, and take a few thou off the top of the shaft and the underside of the pump housing.
