Re: OMC fuel tank screws?

I was able to get fibre washers at the local farm store for 30 cents each. More than they should cost but marineengine.com lists them for about $6 each. Do they need sealer?

I cut gaskets of 1/16 in rubber/cork sheet. Not sure what the official material is.

Can’t really complain about prices, I suppose. Bombardier obviously doesn’t have an obligation to support many-decades-old equipment. But it only makes sense to use generic materials when possible.

So the tanks now look done but I haven’t been into the little pin-operated valves, so we shall see…..
