I like using that style prop over the wider blade for my 10 horse motors up to ’57. It’s been a while since I checked but I’m pretty sure the white one is also 9 X 8. I’ve tried both and the narrower blade seems to reach max. rpm and plane the boat faster. I’ve been meaning to get a tach, but I’m just going by ear and knowing the motors on my boat the way I do. There’s no worry over-revving. The ’55 Johnson 10 hp in the video is wide open with the green prop.
