A 35hp is already set up to accept a fuel pump. Save yourself a lot of work by using a pump that fits it. A Sierra 18-7351 would be such a pump. Because the fittings point downward, move the bypass cover to the top cylinder. You won’t need the glass filter that is there now because the pump has a filter screen.
You will have to drill the pulse hole on through the bypass cover and tap the screw holes to 10-24 threads.
