I would just replace the missing pieces unless you can find a complete recoil locally, as shipping costs for a whole recoil might be prohibitive.

Yeah, the one on the right is worn. The nylon has been smooshed up on the end. I just posted the pic for reference for mgsolakis. On closer inspection , there are some differences betweeen the two recoils, but I am guessing they would interchange . The motors that these two recoils came from were beyond repair like so many, they ingested water 😥 I do have 3 other QD runners though !
