Re: Rowboat Motor Chapter Dossin Museum event reminder

[PM T2]

Reminder notice – since it was buried under about 4 pages of classic motor posts…..

If you happen to be in the Detroit area on July 30th – this years show is all Rowboat Motors, and nothing else….. well, maybe some lake freighters…. oh yeah, the Antique & Classic Boat Society people will be out as well. We’ll have rowboa t motors running in the tank, and there may be a demonstration of how to put a rowboat motor together with nothing more than a screwdriver, Crescent wrench, and some other un-special non-Mercury tools.

We will have a food vendor on site to help keep y’all from starving to death. Allow me to introduce Chef Q

We’ll have an auction of donated items, and a 50-50 draw as well. ALL Proceeds of the fundraisers will be handed over to the Dossin Museum folks as a thank-you for them hosting an AOMCI event for a second consecutive year.

Hope to see some of you there.

Best,

He's livin' in his own private Idaho..... I hope to go out quietly in my sleep, like my grand-dad did..... and not screaming, like the passengers in his car...
