You were right about where it has seizure on the king pin. I’ve tried heating it and wrestled with a bar through the holes at the end of the king pin to try and force it to turn. No joy . It’s seized solid. So has the friction bolt to adjust the turning tension. I tried the blow torch on that as well, to try and loosen, but again no luck. I put a good squirt of WD40 on everything and I’ll try again tomorrow, if no luck then I’ll abandon ship I think. Anyone want to by mostly purple busted 1971 8HP Chrysler?
