You are very welcome. I’ll do what I can to help if I can. I’m sure mine will need an impeller and I believe it’s the flexible vane type. I put a new one in my later Elgin and I’ll probably pull that one and put it in this one as the other one needs plenty of work. I had Bob Long recast a new one on the original brass hub. My other one has pieces of the impeller stuck in the cooling paths so I have to take that one all apart and get way onto it. Not ready to do that yet so long as this one doesn’t have the same issue. Maybe getting this one going will inspire me to work on the other one but I have lots of other project motors to work on.
Let me know if you need other pictures or help. The only thing I have found missing on mine yet is the idle mixture screw. The carb needs a bit of TLC but pretty decent and complete other than that. Hopefully that will help both of us and anyone else that may have the same questions.
