Here, hope, is a picture. As I said, both the shaft and linkage are round. It does not start to even open by the time it hits indented line on the ignition advance. If I set it down to that point, so it opens more with less spark advance, it will not allow it to reach full RPM with the throttle open because the spark is not advanced far enough at that point.
