One thing I can say about this style of Elgins. They did a nice job of designing with backwards compatibility in mind. Most of the newer ‘features’ from the later year motors can be easily retrofitted to the older ones. This means the parts compatibility is usually very good across the years. The sizes, I’m not yet sure about. All my Elgins are 7.5s.
