Success! New plugs gapped correctly, removed starter, pulled carb and checked it out. Shiny metal bowl inside, surprised knowing this sat for 5 years behind a shed. Re-assembled everything and fired it up. Started on the first pull! It hasn’t done that since I bought it. Plus the rope is easier to pull, maybe the deep creep I sprayed on the bolt to get it off helped. The choke works great, I made sure to double check it. I bought this little motor and boat for fishing, but working on it has been almost as much fun.
