    Okay, let’s back up a bit. The primer isn’t a pump – it’s a valve. It only allows fuel through when it is activated and either the primer bulb is squeezed, or the motor is turning over (fuel pump pumping). Simply activating it with no fuel pressure present won’t do anything. Test it under those conditions and let us know what you find.
