Fleetwin, exactly, the carbon seal and o ring were not there. It had even compression. I think in the low 80s. I didn’t think much about it after the cylinders checked out evenly. I haven’t really had the motor running yet. It is a recent purchase and I have gone through usual things to get spark and only started it for a couple seconds with gas squirted in the carb throat as I do not have a suitable tank for this motor yet. I didn’t hear anything that sounded weird but I have no experience to fall back on.

Cosmetically it isn’t anything to get excited about. I wouldn’t call it pretty but it does seem to be all there.

I was guessing it might be a try it and see deal. 16:1 and no long trips. LOL
