    Kenny, what exactly do you mean by " upper housing piece to slide off the powerhead" ?
    What is the upper housing piece?
    If I remember correctly, to get the lower cowling off, you have to pull the
    power head / swivel tube out of the transom mount.

    Prepare to be boarded!
