Thanks everyone. I pulled the lower unit apart and the uptube and pump. There was some crud in the uptube where the little drain hole and check ball were. So that was good to find. cant really tell how worn the piston or cam part on the drive shaft are really. It all looks ok, looks like 1937. there was bunch of water in the lower unit though. And I got a better pic of that hole on the LU. It’s definitely round and drilled but sorta chipped. I’m going to fire her up tonight and will report back and send pix. Thanks again.
