    i got a 5.5 fisherman and it pushes my 12 foot aluminum boat at 13-14 mph depending on wind,i am 200lbs,boat is 70 lbs,and i always got a minkota trolling motor and battery in boat with me so if your 7.5 runs faster than that no need to change prop they are old motors after all.
