Nope, I don’t rivet it back together. Stainless steel nuts/bolts/washers. Might as well to both boards at the same time in my opinion. It’s actually pretty fun to do, just take your time and enjoy it. Don’t cut the boat and try to take the transom cap off. The 2 screws that go from the top down are to hold the board, not the cap. Remember, I don’t claim to be an expert. I was hoping someone who has done more of these would chime in here also.
