    I’m pretty sure there is not a common ‘standard’ o-ring usable as a shift rod seal on these motors. I would stick with the OMC part for this. I have even heard the Sierra ones aren’t quite right and often leak. I have no experience with them myself though. Someone with more experience re sealing these gearcases may be able to chime in on this one.
