I’m sure you are right about the distance many of the sellers have to travel and having jobs to get back to. I can respect that as my wife and I both have jobs to get back to which is why I can’t get there any earlier.
I’m still going, it’s just really frustrating to know that im going primarily to buy and by time I arrive everything will have already been picked over all week. It will be my first time there and I and I’m looking forward to it very much. It’s just a bit disheartening to think that I’m making the trip to the biggest swap meet around and I’ll be missing out on the best part of it before I can even get there. It’s definitely good to know though, thank you for the info.
Maybe next year, if I go back, I will end up adjusting my vacation time and having to leave my wife and daughter at home and working arond the unofficial schedule more. It’s difficult to do that when we also have family vacation and I’m the only one in my family that cares about outboards. It’s a wonder I am getting to go at all this year. We’ll see what happens. If you do end up going, I hope to see you there. 🙂
