The carb leak my just lack of knowledge on my part. The float pin was not lined up properly. Just FYI, that makes gas really leak bad.
Two more questions.
Water is squirting from the tell tale pretty good but it seems to be heating up pretty fast. My thermometer shows temps in the high 170s. Do these motors run hotter than normal?
Other than the 4 bolts on the leg, is there anything else I have to disconnect to drop the LU? I have no idea in which decade it last had an impeller.
