    Is there any chance this motor is suffering from pre ignition in one or more of the cylinders?

    You say it runs great on the trailer but stumbles and dies under load. Are the spark plugs too hot or the incorrect ones? Carbon buildup can also cause pre ignition or using old fuel can be another problem.
