Jerry: Not sure I can hear the poppet. I DO hear the compression as it spins. If there is a poppet noise, it could be masked in with the compression. Just a thought, maybe I can simultaneously pull the rope and watch the needle at the bottom of the poppet to see if it is moving. My wife says I am not coordinated enough to do two things at once like walk and take the garbage out at the same time, but I will try it!
