Vio Hulda and/ or Studebaker boat, built in Kansas. Not related to the car company. I’ve got a brochure somewhere. I started out with one in the early sixties powered by a 12hp Sea King. It is a welded hull and I managed to break most of the welds. Rough water didn’t slow me down.
I had a friend with a similar boat with a 12hp Buccaneer which was just barely faster. Depending on our funds, we would go in one boat or the other, or sometimes just take both of them. His boat was not painted and of a textured metal. Ours were built in the mid fifties.
