    I believe that in the days before the "introduces" numbering system, the last number, if it was even it was a short shaft and if the number was odd, it was a long shaft…..70673….the 3 meaning long shaft….if it were a short shaft, it would be 70672. I am sure if I am incorrect, I will be quickly informed.
