    I may be mistaken, but there should be three openings down in the area of your “green Stick’ The green stick looks to be pointing to the cooling water intake. On the other side of the propeller should be the water outlet opening. On the back side of the water inlet is there another opening? that would be the engine exhaust.  your motor does not have a water pump. Cooling water circulates by a presser  / Vacuum system.
