    those round pumps are apparently better suited to 4 stroke engine…like lawn tractors   the small mikuni square pumps may solve  the problem ….. make certain your tank vent is open and working.

     

    give your engine a wot run for a few minutes every 20-25 min. to burn up accumulated   crankcase fuel oil if your

    purge valve is plugged up
