This video link will show you how I modified the Wico laminates to use an OMC style coil on a 3/4 hp. Waterwitch. You need to have them clamped tightly together when drilling out the rivets. I just used an old Evinrude coil I had. Don’t buy the black coils as they can be glued to the laminates so you can’t get them off. Get the green ones. There is a USA company that still makes these coils but they are a bit more expensive compared to the ones made in China.
