Well – I am about to launch into unchartered territory and my Johnson “garage” continues to grow with toys (aka “tools”!!).
- I got the torque wrench figured out and in my possession
- I got a compression tester so we can hopefully check that off the box!
- I got several carburetor tune up kits and cleaner. Finding the exact match to my carburetor wasn’t easy.
I will try to test compression and get carb off if compression is good because that sounds like that could be the culprit. I guess cleaning that out and replacing everything is not a bad idea anyway. It has not been touched in the 4 years I have been running this motor.
