Thanks, I have the video you attached and it’s the reason I posted this question.
I’m completely rebuilding the magneto and intend to use the VOM timing method shown in this vid, when new parts (points , condensers & coils) arrive.  But my flywheel shows no external timing marks, that would be visible when it’s mounted on my motor.  I’ve added external marks, corresponding to what I’m assuming are the timing marks, with a paint pen.  Will manually verify TDC piston position, to insure my paint marks correspond correctly.  Thanks again!
