Thanks, George, that’s very helpful! I’ll be using the original Johnson carb until I can find a couple of pieces I need for a Vacturi carb my friend Lincoln is putting together for me. 
Lincoln also runs a V45 and he has found the Vacturi gives significantly improved fuel efficiency. Have you ever compared the two?
