    I have a 1987 Johnson 48 SPL. Bought it new. Best motor that I have ever owned. It is a 50 w/o VRO. Has hundreds of hours of use. The later two cylinder loopers are hard to beat. I always run it at 40:1. I can supply pics of the fuel setup if you want.
