Cheap fuel pumps will cause all sorts of troubles. Spend the money and get the right one.
Exactly, and use the proper bypass cover also. That cover is flat on the inside, so does not direct the fuel charge into the ports very well. Use the proper fuel lines, and seal off that pressure port properly.
