I don’t believe Cape Craft ever made anything that small. I tried to search their history, but it only seems to go back to 1992. The HIN number, if it has one would tell the story. I have 2 Invader 10 footers, one is a 1969 and the other is a 1972. I also have an 8 footer made sometime between 1966 and 1969. None of the boats have HIN numbers as I do not believe it was required until later in the 70’s. If you can post a pic of it from the outside and a pic of the transom construction from the inside I can ID it for you if it is an invader. Hope this helps.
