Hi Ben good to hear from you. I just used the cotter pin hole that is in the propeller shaft. The kid copied the original and I measured and drilled a hole to match. The drill wanted to run a little crooked so I just made the hole a little bigger. All the thing has to do is hold the shear pin in place. I think it will work! I should have checked with you first but, my son was up for an adventure so off we went. I like to check the prop shaft for fishing line. The rubber nuts are getting old and hard and not snapping on like they should.
