Bob, when I was working on my water pump and starting to reassemble my lower unit I noticed I had gear oil leaking from the top of my lower unit/drive shaft housing.  Not sure what I did to cause this. Is this normal or is there some sort of seal leaking?  I also noticed when I put my drive shaft in it didn’t seem to fit all the way in the gear case or turn my propeller shaft when I twisted it.  The square end goes into the power head and splines go into foot correct?  Not sure if this is connected to the leaking gear oil or not.
