I have replaced the crankshaft, and got the updated clutch cable kit. Tested the condensers and they read in the shorted scale on the Merc-O-T. Flip-flopped on using caps but I really don’t know enough, so decided to see what I could come up with as far as condensers. Ended up using condensers from the same type of ignition the coils come from. Using a sanding drum on my (1970’s) dremel, I open up the hole that they drop into a little. I no longer had a place to connect the wires so I drilled and taped a hole in the laments for a insulated plug I made from some plastic rod. A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
