These Eisermann mag coils have been successfully replaced with the John Deer Pony Motor coils. That is the same mag that is in a Lawson Sport King 6 hp twin. Club member here did a replacement, and it worked out OK. Mag armature laminations have to be shaved down from 5/8 to 1/2 inch to fit. If I remember there was a post here . or maybe a tech article in the AO about that substitution.
